Micael Edblom是瑞典严雪萍Ryhov医院（Ryhov医院康复医学中心）的执行总裁，他说：“有时你很难向别人解释康复。”为能给康复一个确切的定义， Ryhov医院康复中心使用六项原则模式简称6P来定义康复。“6P关注的是日常工作中非常重要的领域，同时6P对于持续的质量改进也极其重要。” Edblom说：“我们发现CARF标准让我们专注于6P原则中的每一项，同时也很好的解释了我们为什么这么做的原因。”
